Constable Gilbert’s April, 2025 Report

Transportation

In April 151 individuals were carried to work and home, shopping, legal and medical appointments. There were others who needed transportation, but could not be scheduled. If you would like to help, contact me at the number below.

Broken Windows Policing WITHOUT Police

The effort to identify financially distressed individuals who are facing Code Enforcement fines because of their inability to abate violations of city codes has been unsuccessful. Both the City of Little Rock and its Environmental Court are unable or unwilling to assist. In the month of May, I intend to attend at least one session of the Court to become more familiar with its operation and the type of individuals affected by its operation.

STOP Unsolicited Phone Solicitations

In March I logged more than100 personal telephone calls from companies that I doubt are legitimate businesses. I certainly had not asked them to call me. I encourage anyone who finds those solicitations as irritating as I do, to keep a record of them. Perhaps we can find a way to encourage them to stop their intrusive business practices.
