Frank Gilbert is a 72-year-old retiree residing in Little Rock. He and his wife, Sharon have been married for five years. Between the two of them, they have four sons, two daughters, and thirteen grandchildren.
Born in Texas, Frank moved to Arkansas as a teenager and graduated from Van Buren High School in 1968. He then enlisted in the United States Navy. After his military service ended in 1972, he attended Ouachita Baptist University.
Mr. Gilbert worked for Guard Tronic, Inc., an Arkansas electronic security systems company for more than 20 years. He became a board member and managed the Little Rock office. A second career followed working for the Bauxite Public Schools until his retirement in 2017. Mr. Gilbert supervised middle and high school students.
As Lieutenant Governor, he has pledged, “I will listen to any Arkansan who wants to make Arkansas a better place to live. I will help you get your ideas into the halls of power and advocate for you.”
