Transportation
The first month of 2025 and of my term included # Transport Events. These included
trips to and from work, medical and legal appointments as well as to grocers and other
merchants. It is a blessing to be able to provide rides for both those who can cover the
cost of their travel and those who could not.
There were others who requested transportation, but could not be scheduled.
Volunteers are sought who can meet those needs that I cannot. If you would like to help,
contact me at the number below.
Broken Windows Policing WITHOUT Police
The plan is to help property owners who have run afoul of municipal code
enforcement and similar laws, but are struggling to bring their property up to code.
More than 1,000 property owners incurred monetary charges last year in Little Rock,
did not pay them and had those charges added to their property taxes. Residents who
struggle to maintain their property need our help. So far, one other person has agreed to
help with this. Thank You, Raul! I hope you will consider joining him. Give me a call.
STOP Unsolicited Phone Solicitations
In January I logged more than 50 personal telephone calls from companies that I
doubt are legitimate businesses. I certainly had not asked them to call me. I encourage
anyone who finds those solicitations as irritating as I do, to keep a record of them.
Perhaps we can find a way to encourage them to stop their intrusive business practices.
Constable’s Listening Tour
It would be a pleasure to meet with you to discuss my concerns, and more
importantly, to hear from you about things that concern you, but are not being
addressed. Contact me at any time. I want to hear from you and to help in any way that
I can.
